C-Star - Singing is Believing (Mar - Jun)
C-Star was the first and largest nationwide singing competition and video talent show in the British Chinese community, judged by industry professionals, which led to a music professional career for the contestants.

Filming East One Minute Award
The One Minute Award short film competition is open to the general public, with the theme 'One Minute China'. 20 selected submissions will be screened during the festival and potentially in China.

Pearl Award
The Pearl Awards are all about recognizing excellence, but they are also about raising the bar. They are about celebrating "the collective state of our art," said Jeff Simpson, one of the founders of the Faith Centered Music Association, which has been handing out the awards annually since 1997.

National Sanshou Championship
The British Council for Chinese Martial Arts (BCCMA) was set up in 1973 and was granted Sports Council Recognised Governing Body status in 1980. It has over 75 Organisations/Associations members, and over 10,000 individual members across all of the major disiplines of Chinese Martial Arts.

Xiangqi (Chinese Chess) Tournament
World Mind Masters Limited (WMM)has successfully hosted online and live World Xiangqi Masters events in 2005, 2006 and 2007, establishing brand and event credibility within the world of Xiangqi players, including the Chinese Xiangqi Federation and the World Xiangqi Federation.
